After the shoot we returned to the "Sushi Party" where guest were treated to some great food.

I started off my day by heading up to the cabin the guys were getting ready in. You know when you see this combo you're in for some laughs.

A peak at the bride through the window, with the lakes reflection in the window.

Scott wasn't planning on crying but I caught him here trying to hold back the leak.

The ring bearer.

Scott's dad.

A few candids after the ceremony.

The girls enjoying some of the guys drink.

The bartender mixed up the Emerald Lake colored shooter. It was actually pretty decent if you like mint.

Guests were treated to some really nice speeches and a great meal. Yael and Scott were able to sneak out for a few portraits before the dance. The lake looked amazing after sunset.

First dance.

Its always dangerous pointing a camera at a guy in a kilt (who doesn't wear them often), on a chair at lens height. I recommend an angle from the side.

It was a perfect night.

We started off doing some portraits. Here's a really simple one of the wedding party. Not sure what I like about this so much, but it just seems relaxed and happy.

This was the scene at the start of the ceremony. The weather held, although the JP did talk pretty fast.

Vows

Sheri's mom

I didn't plan on this but once I put these two photos side by side I couldn't help thinking about how quick kids grow up. On the right is Sheri's brother and his daughter. Sheri's parents on the left.

I loved the take away center pieces.

Lots of cute kids at the reception.

Craig's brother in law delivered an unbelievable speech.

Tina and her dad on the aisle.

Just after the first kiss.

The new ring.

Tina requested some portraits with a graffiti wall. It was hard choosing between this one a similar shot of the guys. Unfortunately guys, you didn't quite measure up to the girls performance :)

Hard to say, but this is probably my favorite portrait from the day.

I think the cocktail hour is probably the most underrated part of the wedding day for photography. While photos like this aren't necessarily fine art, 20 years from now you can bet they will be considered the most valuable in the set. Tina with her dad and sisters.

I love poaching other peoples photos.

Matt's grandma. Such a sweet lady. She was in high demand all night.

The speeches were great.

Planning a party that was worthy of Michelle's 25th was no small task but fortunately Lynn Fletcher and her team were up to the challenge. There is no point trying to talk about it, photos do a better job.

Perfect princess shoes.

The princess.

Sister's reaction.

The Room.

Close up of the cake. I still can't believe these flowers were made out of sugar.

Pink was the color, of course.

Princesses don't arrive to their parties in cars.

The big arrival to a rowdy crowd.

The signature martini and the glass slipper it was dispensed from. All the ladies at the party were given some bling.

My favorite part of the whole day was following Michelle around between courses as she said hi to guests. I noticed most were left wiping tears from their eyes after she moved on to the next person.

The speeches.

First dance with dad.

Later in the evening there was a big surprise for Michelle.
