Moving Pain

|
Just thought I would post and update and let everyone know what Ive been up to. January has been moving month and it has sucked. Now I know why you see those people on TV that refuse to leave their house when the hurricane is approaching. It is because moving the stuff is more painful than losing it all.
Thanks to all those who have emailed in kind words about the new BLOG. I am really looking forward to posting on it in 2008. If you are the procrastinating type who is getting married this year, but keep putting off contacting me to get some information, well
. Summer dates are getting pretty thin and the fall is starting to fill out. I promise your inquiry will be painless, so just click on contact and get it over with.
Moving with kids adds a whole new level of pain. |
So it looks like I am on track here to make this my lamest BLOG entry ever. Why not swing for the fence with one more visual that will hopefully take this entry to a whole new lowly level. Yep, a photo of our new vacuum. I may have made a strategic error though. I thought by buying a cool looking purple machine Suzanne would want to use it more, but I got a little carried away I think because she says she can't figure out how to use it and therefore won't. Damn. |

Carol and Dustan - Olds

|
Carol and Dustan's wedding in Olds was my last one on the books for 2007 and I had been looking forward to it for quite a while. Both of them grew up on farms and come from some seriously tall families. At 5'11 I felt like short all day long. As with most winter weddings the day was short and the air was crisp, but we managed to make the most of our time.
I loved the color scheme for the girls. |
Carol before the ceremony. |
Grandma was pretty happy with her front row seat. |
A 2 hp getaway. Well I guess that would be 2 dp. The Bride and Groom both realized that while the buggy looked cool it was in fact too cool after a few kilometers. |
This was an obvious setup, but I couldn't resist it. |
You know people don't have a lot of faith in your talents with the knife and fork when they strap one of these on you. I envy how kids can see in their cup. |
